As a business owner with ____ full time employees, I have been adversely affected by our Texas Legislators’ decision to pass the Texas Business Margin Tax in 2006. This additional tax is an undue hardship to my business. The tax appears unconstitutional and destructive to our economy in the great State of Texas and is not necessary given the large surplus.  I strongly encourage you to repeal the New Business Margin Tax and go back to the drawing board for a better solution to fund our public education.

 

If the Business Margin Tax is not repealed, I and others will work towards removing you from office just as others have been removed from office.  I look forward to a speedy resolution to this matter ASAP.
